As it turns out, the edge-to-edge display was reserved for the larger brother, the Oppo R7 Plus, set to be announced alongside the R7 on May 20.
While no specs have been officially announced, a screenshot on GFXBench website has appeared, showing the hardware of the R7 Plus. If the benchmark is to be trusted, the smartphone boasts a 5.9-inch FullHD display. The Oppo R7 Plus will allegedly be powered by a Mediatek MT6795M chipset with an octacore CPU, clocked at 1.9GHz.RAM is likely yo feature 3GB and internal storage is 32GB of which 6GB are reserved for system use.
